SUMMARY
Providing technical assistance to existing Fines Committee-funded programs to help them grow and become sustainable.
BACKGROUND
Available funding streams for program sustainability are difficult to identify and access. Fines Committee funding provided by a consent decree is inherently temporary, so building long-term capacity is a complicated endeavor. V-Cap provides expertise to assist programs with financial modeling, business planning, and compliance monitoring.
ELEMENTS
V-Cap will provide direct technical assistance identifying and strengthening sustainability and preparing organizations for future growth. This $100,000 initiative, jointly funded with $50,000 from V-Cap and $50,000 from the Fines Committee, will support two Fines Committee-funded community-based behavioral health organizations in Colorado that serve competency-involved or at-risk of involvement populations.
